MY STORY
I’m Kristina, also known as Firefly.
I am a female owned small business, creator, artist, teacher, instructor and decorator of Firefly Studios & Nectar. By trade, I am an art teacher and fitness professional. I have over 20 years of experience in the service industry. Recently, my focus has been to create more, grow more, challenge more and live more. Moreover, I am blessed to be a mother to my amazing children. My purpose for Firefly Studios and Nectar is to create a brighter future for our children. My goal is to give back to them and continue to teach them we make a difference in people’s lives by offering something special.
MY JOURNEY
In 2022, I started Firefly Studios and began with making linoleum prints of fitness quotes, handmade bound journals, and from there I started to make macramé’ products and jewelry. I dove in feet first and took off to doing 3-4 events a month year round. From working outdoors in the elements to indoor in small spaces, I always enjoy creating a space to offer my handmade products to people. What you can expect is a colorful display of all the things I love to make. I always hope to inspire people and bring them joy. Mental health awareness is so important to our future.
After my first year of business, I am now in a handful of storefronts throughout the East side of Rochester. I love what I do so much that I am hitting the road in a new and exciting capacity. Firefly Studios will continue and Firefly Nectar is emerging. Not only is this a vintage mobile bar serving Rochester and surrounding areas of western New York, it is also an experience to personalize your party. Offering packages like Crafts and Cocktails, Chocolate and Wine workshops, Mindfulness and Mimosas, Stretch and Sip Yoga, Vision Boards and , and much more!
